Together Forever Part Two

So while my so-called friends continued with their ever-important discussion, I was thinking about what to produce next. And voila! Here is another song.

Together Forever Part Two

We'll live in our hearts forever.
And there will be only laughter there.
And all our distress will be over.
Cause you and I will live there together.

When the moon shines high in the sky,
Together we'll fly.
Reach our hands out holding our hearts.
When the clouds vanish away,
With the cherubs we'll play.
An they will make you my life's part.

Don't you know I craze for you?
What I want is to hold you.
Always wanna stay by your side.
My heart's red but I'm feeling blue.
Do you love me? Give me a clue?
I wanna make you my life's pride.

Smiles!!!

Together Forever Part One

Hello everyone! I am back with more of my "literary creativity".
Just kidding!

Anyways, this is a song I wrote back in junior school when i was just a silly little girl. My friends sat in a group and talked about boys and the latest fashion while I was tucked away in a corner trying to find ideas about what should I write. This is the product of my silly childish mind. Hope you enjoy this. More on this coming soon. Smiles!!!

Together Forever

In a moonlit night, you and I will roam around together.
On a sun-shining day, you and I will walk forever.
Time flies by but true love never change.
How does it happen?? It's very strange.
Maybe, I'll know this answer now.
Cause, I'm in love.
Now, I have a question to ask you...

Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

Even at world's end, you and I will stay like that forever.
In our dangers, we'll fight together.
I'm thinking about you in my mind.
I love your courage and you're kind.
May be, you'll know my feelings now.
Cause I'm in love.
But still I wanna know from you...

Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

Love's so strong.
It works like a bond.
When it ties around you can never go wrong.
But, I wanna ask you again...
Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

Rant of a frustrated fellow-Hijabi

NOTE: I wrote this piece back when I was still a Muslim. I have, since then, left my religion and do not agree to most or all of what is written here. However, these posts are very much part of my life and helps understand the changes I went through. That's why, I am against deleting them.

Hijab with seductive looks is utterly ridiculous. It destroys the sole purpose of establishing hijab in the first place. Girls, change your attitude, please. You don't have to be seductive in public to prove that you are beautiful and sexy. Save all your "talents" for that one special person only. Trust me, it will be worth it.

And a message for the guys, don't judge a girl by her looks or her curves. There's always more to it than meets the eyes.
Sorry if I sound preachy. But it just frustrates me when I see how people are displaying rules of Islam in the wrong light.

May Allah bless us all and guide us through the right path.

The broken heart of the Prince: Foreword

Here is a foreword to my upcoming book THE BROKEN HEART OF THE PRINCE.

Observing the great number of avid anime-fans in our country I felt like this book may create some controversies since the contents of this book are part original story and part fanfiction.

The story is loosely based on my all-time favorite anime Princess Tutu, which was written by the absolutely brilliant Mizuo Shinonome and the series was directed by Junichi Sato and Shogo Koumoto.

I will not talk about the plot of the anime, but you must check the anime out if you like less-violent, descriptive, highly-fantastical and thoughtfully-genius anime series. Because it's really good.

Once again my sincere apologies to the fabulous author and directors of this wonderful anime. It's too good to be left alone without making a fan fiction about it.

Finally, even though you hear it from all writers, I still hope you readers enjoy my book as much I enjoyed writing it. Smiles!

A day-off from duties

Here is my second story. I hope you will enjoy it.

Princess Marybella was highly astonished when she saw what her father, the King, brought for her as her birthday present. It was her fourteenth birthday. From the past few days, she was looking forward to this day. Her parents had been telling her that she was going to get a pleasant surprise on her birthday; and she was expecting something like that.
But when she saw her present, she was not that pleased. Her father had brought her a fifteen-year old young lad as a gift.
“Happy birthday, sweetheart.” the King grinned at his daughter. “Meet Remus – your birthday gift.”

Marybella stared at her present with disbelief. It was not something that came in a pretty box with wrapping paper and ribbons, which was exactly what she was expecting. How could a human be wrapped inside a box? The young lad, Remus, was smiling an enthusiastic smile at her. He bowed as if he were trained these formalities before. Unwillingly, Marybella curtsied. It was her duty to curtsy when someone bowed before her. But she also did not forget to stick her tongue out at him when her parents were looking away. Remus winced and frowned at this but did not say anything.

Interview with the Vampire: Review and Spoilers

The edition I own

Vampires have always fascinated me. I mean, who doesn’t like a good vampire novel or film; their mysterious treading through darkness and mist? A few days back I finished reading Dracula by Bram Stoker and the book left me starving for more vampire books. That’s when I picked up Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice, the first book in her Vampire Chronicles series. She was my first choice because she is termed as the perfect descendent of Stoker and after I finished reading her book, I knew why, and I was not disappointed.

Rice has all of Stoker’s quality in describing the atmosphere and to churn out the perfect and mysterious setting for her story. But she also has her unique voice at presenting her story which distinguishes her style from Stoker’s at a far different level. Rice is excellent and perfect in her own way. Today I will focus more on her writing style and will try to control myself from comparing her with Stoker. But before going on with that, I must say if Stoker’s Dracula leaves you empty from inside, you can definitely look forward to Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, even though you will notice a considerable amount of differences between the two prolific authors right from the first page.

Plot
The story is about a young man called Louise de Pointe du Lac, who claims to be a vampire to a young male reporter known only as “the boy” throughout this book. He confesses his story of how he became a vampire and what happened after that to this young reporter who interviews him.
