Fleeting Thoughts

I forgot when I actually wrote this poem. I found this piece while rummaging through one my many diaries. I think I should post it just for the sake of documentation. Unfortunately, I did not name the original poem. So, maybe I will cook a name up after I am done typing the poem. Additionally, I didn’t even jot the date down. Silly me!

It’s been days, I have written.
Pillows flared, bed clothes beaten.
Cobwebs formed on distant ceiling.
How am I to tell my feeling?

I take this pen and diary to write.
Mind numb; thoughts unbright.
Wrong words fill up the pages.
I feel like small birds in cages.

When will this isolation cease?
Open the window; let in the breeze.
The wind shall take my breath away.
The clouds shan’t make my room more grey.

The sun shall shine and inspire me.
All my annoying thoughts shall flee.
I shall fill pages anew.
Let’s start with the morning dew.

The Creation of the Gods: Literary piece

At first, there was nothing but the Egg of Shamo in a void of nothingness. Nobody, not even Shamo himself, knew who created him or who put the Egg in the void. He did not know whether he created himself or not. He did not know how the Egg found its way where it was. But he did know that he was powerful and he could create from something as minor as a little ant to something as large as the paradise. Shamo knew he was the most powerful being in the whole of nothingness and that he was the new Creator.

Time passed. Shamo did not count whether it were days or months or decades. Time was not yet created. The God lay like that, in the confines of the Egg, maturing slowly and waiting for the moment to break out of its shell. The Eggshell glowed and glittered with all the aura of the rainbow – red, blue and gold and every other color. Shamo grew staring at the different brilliant colors, enjoying them, savoring them with his sight. He also examined the dark void around him through the translucent shell of his Egg. He knew right then and there that he had a lot of great tasks to do in the near future.

Reminiscence: Play with only a single character

[The stage is dark with huge black curtains. A fake ball of light is on the left side of the stage, acting as a full moon. A fake road is to be drawn on the stage with a fenced wall on the left acting as the graveyard. There will be single streetlight at the middle of the stage in the background. The lightings on the stage should be dim to create an eerie night-time vibe. The protagonist is supposed to walk slowly from the right to the left towards the fenced wall. After entering the stage, he stops and speaks.]

Protagonist: I finally decided to meet her. It’s been two years since I last saw her. Her face had been pale and weak, guilt steaking all over it. I was angry. I did not even like to look at her. How could she do it? After all these years being together, after going through all the will and woe. Did I love her less? Did she love me less? What went wrong? Everything was going well. What happened suddenly?

[The protagonist looks at the moon and acts scared and confused.]

Protagonist: I should not have smoked the last one, especially since it was the mint flavored one. Mint always made me dizzy.

Reminiscence: Original Short Story by Afifa Farzana

I finally decided to meet her. It’s been two years since I last saw her. Her face had been pale and weak, guilt streaking all over it.

I was angry. I did not even like to look at her. How could she do it? After all these years being together, after going through all the will and woe. Did I love her less? Did she love me less? What went wrong? Everything was going well. What happened suddenly?

I shook my head to get rid of the sad memories. It was past twelve in the night. The moon was full, a bit too big for my liking. I looked at it without slowing my pace down. The street was empty except for the constant buzzing of the crickets. I did not have to think about bumping into them.

I could imagine faces on the yellow surface of the moon. Was that pity I see? Sympathy? Darn! I should not have smoked the last one, especially since it was the mint flavored one. Mint always made me dizzy.

A dog barked suddenly in the distant, shaking me back to reality. I looked up and saw two dogs on the verge of fighting. Fight. Anger. These human emotions had already begun to go non-existent in me. Maybe that’s what happened to you when you overflow with a pack of emotions at once. The last time I was overwhelmed was the last day I allowed myself to see her.

Together Forever Part Three

So I was rummaging through my old journal to find stuff for my website and guess what! I found another song on the Together Forever theme. Here it is, guys! I have lost count of how many songs I have written on this topic. By the way, I must let you know that these songs are written even before I actually fell in love. Smiles!

Together Forever Part Three

On the wings of white doves,
Above the clouds in the blue sky,
We'll let our golden love fly high.
In the aquamarine rivers,
Where the silver minnows swim.
We'll let ourselves float in dream.
You don't know what I plan for you.
I'll tell you that I love you.

In the garden full of flowers,
We'll smell the scent.
We'll both count the time
Together we spent.
You don't know what I plan for you.
I'll tell you that I love you.

Mother Earth

Here is a poem I wrote for our school magazine once.

Mother Earth

Take a look at the beautiful sky
And the wind that blow;
See all the gratitude and gratefulness
To the Almighty they show.

Take a look at the trees and
The birds that fly high,
Up in the beautiful Mother Earth's
Blue and wide sky.

Take a look at the deep blue ocean
And small narrow rivers,
From where riches as gold and silver
Is brought by the rivers.

Hear the sweet singing of birds;
Cheerfulness of the deer.
Refreshes one's mind and
Try their best to cheer.

Best friend

Best friends are one of the most important part behind one's emotional growth. Everyone needs one. No one can be a loner. Everyone has a best friend, be it in the form of a mother; a father; a literal friend or even a spouse...but everyone has one. We only need to identify them and share our mutual feelings. On basis of that principle, let's enjoy the song below. Smiles!

Best Friend

Whenever I feel sad and sit alone,
I always find you by my side.
Whenever I am happy and filled with ecstasy,
I always see you smiling at me.
With you I can share my secrets.
In you, I can keep my trust.
You're the one who keeps me smiling always...
You're my best friend,
You're my true friend.
A friend who'll never leave me alone.

Whenever I feel lost, I come to you.
You try your best to solve it.
Whenever I'm nervous, you come along.
You encourage me to win my fears.
With you I can spend hours.
In you I can see my soul.
You're the one who consoles me always...
You're my best friend,
You're my true friend.
A friend who'll never leave me alone.

I will repay you as much as I can.
I will smile at you and console you.
I will encourage you and make you happy.
Just promise me, you will never leave me alone.

Chinese Girl

Modern Talking used to be my favorite duo from a very early time. They made a song about some Chinese girl, which was the inspiration behind this song. Smiles!

Chinese Girl

When I met you in China,
Your eyes pierced my heart.
When I met you in China,
Your sweet smile won my mind.
Your beauty touched me.
Your feeling soothed me.
I just wanna meet you again.
My Chinese girl...
You're my Chinese girl...
My Chinese girl...
You're my sweet Chinese  girl...

When I met you in China,
Your hands touched me.
When I met you in China,
Your hair brushed my face.
My heart beat fast.
Your lips stayed to last.
I just wanna meet you again.
My Chinese girl...
You're my Chinese girl...
My Chinese girl...
You're my sweet Chinese  girl...

Good morning

I guess we had enough of the love songs. Time for something new. Enjoy!

Good Morning

Wake up, wake up, and get ready to start the day.
Look to your right and left. See what, please, say!
Look with your mind's eyes,
You'll see the planet as cold as ice,
With no warmth for anyone,
Just frozen heart for everyone.

So open up your heart and eyes!
And we can say to you...
Good morning, rise and shine.
The day is coming, the night is leaving!
Good morning, rise and shine.
The good are rising, the bad are leaving...yeah!

See what, say what, look all around you.
There's only black, with no red or blue.
Our earth's turning to dust.
The planet is sucking out all the rust.
With no green for anyone
Just dead brown for everyone.

So open up your heart and eyes!
And we can say to you...
Good morning, rise and shine.
The day is coming, the night is leaving!
Good morning, rise and shine.
The good are rising, the bad are leaving...yeah!

What will happen to Mother Earth?
Don't just think and sit by the hearth.
Look at the hunger, look at the thirst.
Do something for it at first.

Not brilliant? I know. But, I hope you got the message. Let's do something for our Mother Earth and make the world a better place. Love!

Baby, you're mine

I never knew I wrote so many songs. But here they are. Found these little babies locked away in my drawer, the pages being moth-eaten and rotting. Now is the time to preserve them. Forgot the music sadly. Love!

Baby, you're mine

Every morning I wake up
Hearing the chirps of birds.
Waking from my sleep,
I think about you.
Do you think about me? - arises in my mind.
And my heart says to me...
Baby, you're mine and I know that from my heart.
Baby, you're mine and I know that from my heart.

Brush my teeth
And look into the mirror.
Your face comes
To say me hello!
I smile at you, you smile at me.
Don't know if it's in reality.
Still my heart says to me...
Baby, you're mine and I know that from my heart.
Baby, you're mine and I know that from my heart.

Together Forever Part Two

So while my so-called friends continued with their ever-important discussion, I was thinking about what to produce next. And voila! Here is another song.

Together Forever Part Two

We'll live in our hearts forever.
And there will be only laughter there.
And all our distress will be over.
Cause you and I will live there together.

When the moon shines high in the sky,
Together we'll fly.
Reach our hands out holding our hearts.
When the clouds vanish away,
With the cherubs we'll play.
An they will make you my life's part.

Don't you know I craze for you?
What I want is to hold you.
Always wanna stay by your side.
My heart's red but I'm feeling blue.
Do you love me? Give me a clue?
I wanna make you my life's pride.

Smiles!!!

Together Forever Part One

Hello everyone! I am back with more of my "literary creativity".
Just kidding!

Anyways, this is a song I wrote back in junior school when i was just a silly little girl. My friends sat in a group and talked about boys and the latest fashion while I was tucked away in a corner trying to find ideas about what should I write. This is the product of my silly childish mind. Hope you enjoy this. More on this coming soon. Smiles!!!

Together Forever

In a moonlit night, you and I will roam around together.
On a sun-shining day, you and I will walk forever.
Time flies by but true love never change.
How does it happen?? It's very strange.
Maybe, I'll know this answer now.
Cause, I'm in love.
Now, I have a question to ask you...

Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

Even at world's end, you and I will stay like that forever.
In our dangers, we'll fight together.
I'm thinking about you in my mind.
I love your courage and you're kind.
May be, you'll know my feelings now.
Cause I'm in love.
But still I wanna know from you...

Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

Love's so strong.
It works like a bond.
When it ties around you can never go wrong.
But, I wanna ask you again...
Will you join me in my long journey?
Will you make me laugh? Will you make me happy?
Oh.. please join me in my long journey.
Make me laugh. Make me happy.

The broken heart of the Prince: Synopsis

Hello guys! Today I am posting the synopsis of my next book THE BROKEN HEART OF THE PRINCE. Read and review. :)

Now it is up to the royal youngsters - Tutu, Clare and Faqeer - to go on a quest to find the shards of his heart and restore it.

But the quest is challenging.
The path is tough.
And the time is short.

Most importantly, what do they have to encounter to fulfill their noble duty when they themselves are unaware of the ancient dark forces which secretly rule their world from a different dimension?

Let's find out in THE BROKEN HEART OF THE PRINCE. Smiles! Find out foreword here.

The broken heart of the Prince: Foreword

Here is a foreword to my upcoming book THE BROKEN HEART OF THE PRINCE.

Observing the great number of avid anime-fans in our country I felt like this book may create some controversies since the contents of this book are part original story and part fanfiction.

The story is loosely based on my all-time favorite anime Princess Tutu, which was written by the absolutely brilliant Mizuo Shinonome and the series was directed by Junichi Sato and Shogo Koumoto.

I will not talk about the plot of the anime, but you must check the anime out if you like less-violent, descriptive, highly-fantastical and thoughtfully-genius anime series. Because it's really good.

Once again my sincere apologies to the fabulous author and directors of this wonderful anime. It's too good to be left alone without making a fan fiction about it.

Finally, even though you hear it from all writers, I still hope you readers enjoy my book as much I enjoyed writing it. Smiles!

A day-off from duties

Here is my second story. I hope you will enjoy it.

Princess Marybella was highly astonished when she saw what her father, the King, brought for her as her birthday present. It was her fourteenth birthday. From the past few days, she was looking forward to this day. Her parents had been telling her that she was going to get a pleasant surprise on her birthday; and she was expecting something like that.
But when she saw her present, she was not that pleased. Her father had brought her a fifteen-year old young lad as a gift.
“Happy birthday, sweetheart.” the King grinned at his daughter. “Meet Remus – your birthday gift.”

Marybella stared at her present with disbelief. It was not something that came in a pretty box with wrapping paper and ribbons, which was exactly what she was expecting. How could a human be wrapped inside a box? The young lad, Remus, was smiling an enthusiastic smile at her. He bowed as if he were trained these formalities before. Unwillingly, Marybella curtsied. It was her duty to curtsy when someone bowed before her. But she also did not forget to stick her tongue out at him when her parents were looking away. Remus winced and frowned at this but did not say anything.

The Maiden and the Angel

Once there lived a beautiful country-maiden called Floradale. She was the possessor of a breathtaking beauty if compared to the other maidens. She used to gather strawberries from the forest nearby her little hut. One day, when she was roaming in the forest, she became thirsty. As she went to the nearby stream, she saw the most amazing sight of her life.

She saw a man; not just an ordinary man, but a man with two pearl-white wings. He had the most beautiful face Floradale ever saw a man to have. He was glowing, and that was how she understood that it was none other than the prince of the angels - Kyanus. He did not wear a halo like the other angels. But behind his ears, he wore a pair of floral wreaths. Floradale got planted in her position when she found that Prince Kyanus was also staring at her from the other side of the stream, with the same fascination. He smiled and bowed, making her curtsy involuntarily.

A sneak peek of Prophecy

Shinigami of fear

Here is a poem I have written exclusively for Prophecy: A tale of two sisters. Sung through Marude's voice, this poem is given below.

From the sea, to the shore,
With heart as dark as apple core,

The one shall rise for a day.
You must face her; stand at bay.

Let not fear turn you dumb;
Let not senses turn too numb.
For it all depends on you;
Marude is my name and this is my clue:
Only the bravest one shall win
And save the world from her wicked twin.

Here I give a free advice,

Follow your heart and everything nice.
Your heart shall tell you what is right.
Use your mind more than might.

Let me know if you liked it. Love!
